Bustamante Wins 8Ball Pool Match

Francisco Bustamante defeated Corey Deuel 15-8 in an 8-ball pool match. The International Pool Tour Challenge Match took place last Wednesday, January 23 in a TV studio on the ritzy North Side of Chicago and was broadcast live at the IPT website.

Filipino pool champ Francisco Bustamante aka "Django", 2007 Derby City Classic Master of the Table, had added another victory to his 2008 count. 44 years old Bustamante is the second winner of the International Pool Tour (IPT) Challenge Match, following Johnny Archer triumph over Earl Stickland in December 2007.

Bustamante took home $70,000 and made it to the ninth place at IPT list of pool winners. Bustamante's contestant, 30 years old American pool player Corey Deuel, said he wasn't surprised by Bustamante's win. In fact, he had predicted the exact score (15-8) from the beginning of the match.
